Difflam™ Spray

Difflam™ Spray contains the active ingredient benzydamine hydrochloride, which belongs to a group of medicines called local analgesics and anti-inflammatories. Difflam™ Spray is used along with other treatments to relieve painful inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat.2

Product dosage information1

To use, just aim the spray-tube at the sore part of the mouth or throat and press down firmly on the plunger to release one puff of Difflam™ Spray.2

  • Available from the pharmacy
  • Children < 6 years old: 1 puff/4kg body weight, max 4 puffs, 1½-3 hourly.
  • Children 6-12 years old: 4 puffs, 1½-3 hourly
  • Adults and children > 12 years old: 4 to 8 puffs, 1½-3 hourly.

Uninterrupted treatment should not exceed 7 days unless under medical supervision
